Biography

ROADS is a Canadian folk-pop band from Montreal, formed by Garen Jemian (vocals and guitar) and Iris Campo (drums and vocals) and Ben Cardilli (guitars and vocals) whose sound can be best described as a mix of classic pop-rock with hints of folk and reggae, having been compared to Fleetwood Mac, Roy Orbison and Jack Johnson.

Produced by Canadian pop-star, Scott Moffatt, their debut album “Remember Today” was released across the country in October 2010, receiving glowing reviews by national press.

Renowned Montreal morning radio show host, Paul Arcand, stated “it’s very accessible, pretty pop music” and “the male/female harmonies are so well done it’s a true work of precision”

With the 2011 addition of newcomer guitarist Ben Cardilli, ROADS is headed back in the studio for a second release, promising as always, an organic and honest expression riddled with colourful melodies and hypnotizing guitar lines.

In 2012, with the new release in hand, ROADS is set to travel around the globe to promote their new album.
